03 February 2022
Magellan Partners acquires axYus, a leading player on the French market for the digital transformation of public sector players, central administrations, public health administrations and social welfare in Paris and regionally. This operation is part of the Strategic Plan 2021-2025 from Magellan Partners Group, a leader in the digital transformation of companies in mainland France. This is Magellan Partners’ 9th acquisition, and the 5th since 2019.
Magellan Partners : a development strategy and deep momentum for organic and external growth
With more than 1,250 consultants, Magellan Partners is an Organizational Consulting and Information Systems Group deeply rooted in Technologies and Data. The Group has shown exceptional growth momentum over the past five years (2016 to 2020), with organic revenue growth of over 20% per year. In 2020, the Group generated revenues of some €145 million. Magellan Partners’ development strategy is based on both organic growth and external growth aimed at strengthening its leading position through the acquisition of French and European experts in consulting and technology.
To this end, in January 2021, it welcomed CAPZA, a leading private equity investor in SMEs/middle-market companies, as a minority shareholder to support its external acquisition strategy with an investment budget of €100 million.
The acquisition of axYus is the third acquisition falling within the implementation of Magellan Partners’ 2021-2025 strategic plan. It is perfectly in line with the Group’s strategy to support companies and public bodies in all aspects of their digital transformation thanks to the twin skills of its teams: business expertise and high specialization in the market’s leading technologies.
