Magellan Partners initiates a partnership with OVHcloud to support companies in the trusted cloud

The global cloud technology market reached $214.3 billion at the end of 2019, up 17.5 percent from 2018, and it is estimated that it will reach $331.2 billion (+54.5 percent) by 2022[1]. Particularly given that the Cloud acts as a powerful lever for the digital transformation of companies and public organizations, cities and French local authorities by allowing more agility, innovation, resilience and cost optimization.

 

With this in mind, Magellan Partners has partnered up with OVHcloud to address the issues of Trusted Cloud and Sovereign Cloud, considered to be one of the major technological and governmental challenges that lies ahead in France and Europe. This agreement between the two entities allows French companies and institutions in the public, health, industrial, energy, banking and defense sectors to benefit from 360° support in the hosting of their sensitive and critical applications and data in France.

The Trusted Cloud, which denotes an independent cloud that is safe from interference by foreign powers, aims to provide end-to-end protection for the confidential and sensitive applications and data of companies, cities and the state. A major issue of the decade, it is now at the core of the strategic reflections of various national and European industrial and state players who wish to shelter a portion of their data.

 

Magellan Partners, a group specializing in Organizational Consulting and Information Systems deeply rooted in Technologies and Data, has co-constructed with OVHcloud a reference offer for a trusted Cloud including: strategic consulting, service provision and technical implementation.

This partnership is based on the desire to roll out a model where infrastructure creation, hosting and data processing are carried out in France. As such, the protection and security of strategic data and sensitive information forms the crux of collaboration between these two entities.
